The Metrodata fiber optic modem converters provide a simple way of converting electrical signals on copper to optical signals on fiber and vice-versa as well as converting singlemode optical fiber to multimode fiber and back again.
The fiber optic modem converters are supplied as standard with SC connectors operating at a nominal wavelength of 1300nm, other wavelengths and connectors are available on request, e.g. 850nm, 1550nm, 1550/1300 WDM or ST and FC.
